Reduced time and implementation costs...

In each case, it is important to note that the long history of success of the IBCE's parent organization (the NBCE) in chiropractic testing will shorten the amount of time and descrease the cost of exam development.

SERVICES OF THE IBCE

All of the NBCE exams currently produced for the United States chiropractic profession are available through the IBCE for use in other countries. However, many countries will develop their own models. Therefore, the following are a few of the possible scenarios in which the IBCE foresees a possible role in the global setting:

  • Many countries now have their chiropractic educational institutions, in these countries, IBCE exams could provide feedback to help improve curriculum development to ensure colleges that their teaching produces world-class chiropractors.
  • IBCE exams could also aid countries in which established chiropractic associations of regulatory authorities require the credentialing of non-traditional chiropractics already in practice.
  • IBCE exams could help with reciprocity or licensing of chiropractors from other jurisdictions in countries where chiropractic is already regulated, regardless of whether chiropractic educational institutions exist in those jurisdictions.
  • IBCE could easily assist countries in developing a chiropractic testing model similar to that used within North America.
