INTRODUCING THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS |
The International Board of Chiropractic Examiners (IBCE) was recently established to assist interested regulatory authorities. The IBCE can aid these authorities in their function of acting in the public interest by registering or licensing only those chiropractors who demonstrate certain international chiropractic competencies. The IBCE was formed out of an initiative of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) to further promote international standardization of chiropractic. The IBCE does not embrace any particular philosophy of chiropractic. Instead, the IBCE produces tests according to information provided by chiropractic educational institutions, regulatory authorities, field practitioners and subject specialists, along with an analysis of the chiropractic profession within each jurisdiction that chooses to utilize IBCE services. |
